TOLV (ex Phoenix Mobility) is a mission-led company that transforms thermal vehicles (diesel or petrol) into 100% electric vehicles. This is called retrofitting, a technique authorized in France since April 2020.

At the origin of this innovation, a simple observation: there are more than a billion thermal vehicles on Earth, which are responsible for around 30% of global CO2 emissions. Rather than scrapping these vehicles to produce another billion clean vehicles, we decided to give them a second life by converting them to electric.

MISSIONS :

Attached to the CTO and the R&D department, you have the responsibility of all the sourcing perimeter.

Your mission is to find the next industrial suppliers of the company that will be part of the next gen electric powertrain platform for the LCV market.

In this strategic post, you allow the company to overcome its next milestones. You reduce the overall cost of the solutions the company develops.

It includes :

• To source new suppliers for any new material or components in regards to the specifications decided by the R&D department.
• Launch RFQ (Request for Quotation) to suppliers after gathering any necessary material
• Negotiate prices and contracts for the procurement of these components.
• Applying the buying politic of the company, in relation with departments and strategy of the company.
• Track and report sourcing KPIs to ensure minimal cost of the overall solution, through monthly report to the C-levels
• Report to the strategy the best solutions to ensure industrial procurement in the long term, focusing on the definition of next Electric powertrain platform for the LCV (light commercial vehicle) market.
• Build framework contracts with the suppliers to ensure long term procurement at the best prices.
• Carry out a watch of the Electric vehicle component market : follow and anticipate costs of material, potential shortages.

PROFIL

We’re looking for :

• Engineering or Business school degree
• 5 years of experience in the automotive industry in the same job
• Someone with the will to participate in a challenging entrepreneurship adventure
• Someone with an experience in Electric vehicles

You have

A good competency in managing all the stakeholders and risks, from sourcing new product to negotiating buying contracts.

An extensive address book of automotive suppliers and good knowledge of the market.

Good knowledge of automotive norms and specifications.

Good knowledge and understanding of eclectic vehicles and their components, such as batteries, motors, inverters…

A good ability to follow a project
